The Minnesota Timberwolves made me feel very Minnesotan tonight. Oof.

I’m very thankful to @jean for bringing doevery.day to the @theweeklyreview podcast. It was interesting to listen to Jean’s discussion about how she uses the site! That discussion begins about 17 minutes in and it has some surprise discoveries. Listen now!
I think my least favorite response to reporting a bug to a company is “Here, look at our over-populated forum and see if someone is talking about it there. If not, create a new post.”
๐ The Former Netflix DVD Library Is a Lost Treasure Weโll Never See Again
This does make me sad. I’ve subscribed as recently as last year, and the disc subscription (for reproduction quality reasons) is something I enjoy when I have a period of free time.
First fire of the year.
Prepping for a music boosters benefit concert tonight. Music!
๐ Practically Paperless with Obsidian
For those that followed along with my Obsidian questions last month, you might find the above series interesting. Tons of information!
๐ This art was made by a computer
This is just absurdly mindblowing. I want to try it, but don’t want to get a Discord account just to get into the betaโฆ
If you are a person who has a thousand ideas and directions you want to go, how have you managed to limit yourself to a few active projects? What are your Pro Tips ™ for delaying project gratification?
Sanibel Island
Yesterday evening.
The ice cream is choice, as is the passive aggression. This sign went well with the โDonโt tilt umbrellas THANK YOUโ sign.
๐บ W/ Bob & David (2015)
I’m a huge Mr. Show fan, so of course I watched this. Maybe it was the second time I watched this? Apparently this time I missed an episode.
Starting vacation off with some mini golf.
So my friend Shawn and I have put together a website to help us stay motivated to do the daily thing we like to do to keep ourselves happy. If you need to make sure you do one thing every day, this might be for you, too? Give it a try!

๐บ Sweet Tooth (2021)
As a Jeff Lemire fan who has never read his Sweet Tooth comics (I know), this was a fun ride. It hit very different because of a pandemic that certainly wasn’t known during shooting.
๐ต Nine Lives (2022) by Kendra Morris
Been a long time since Morris released an album and I’m excited!
Who remembers Userscripts? Here’s a mirror of the old site. I wanted to add a shortcut to the search bar of a site I use and thought about Userscripts again. Is there a modern equivalent?
I am trying Obsidian, but want it to work without having to dive deep into the details. Is that possible? It also feels like you have to have a mountain of notes before you can truly analyze if it’ll work for you; to answer questions about ease of finding what you’re looking for, discoverability, and so on. Does anyone have a shortcut or obvious explaner that helps build confidence here?
I’m currently a Bear Notes person, but curious about Obsidian, especially if I can release the shackles of needing to put thoughts into notes organization. I use notes for general life stuff, research across several topics, home ownership notes, developer logbook, etc. TIA!
(I can’t really know the truth, but this seems like a decent post on the subject.)
๐บ The Afterparty (2022)
Kind of a fun modern take on Clue.
